    The total budget was of 1075700 €, financed by the Spanish Ministry of the Environment. The erosion of the river margins and the loss of soil involved risk for the houses placed near the river. One of the main reasons to execute this project was to reduce the loss of soil and prevent damages to the infrastructues and the local population.
